The Church at Corinth - Part 1 ‘Anointed but Divided’
This was 'front line' mission. A city with an attitude, a bad reputation and almost a million people. But Paul saw God at work in power there. If the Gospel could work there, it would work anywhere. However, they were very immature and divided.
‘One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: ”Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no-one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.’ Acts 18:9-11 (p.1114)
