Bethel Church is a Bible believing Free Evangelical Church based in Northwich, Cheshire in the UK.
We have four aims. To worship God, to share the Good News of Jesus and his salvation with others, to help believers to develop and mature in their faith and to provide practical help for those who are in need.

Jonathan Gough is the Pastor of Bethel Evangelical Church here in Northwich. He is married to Iwona (from Warsaw, Poland). They have two daughters, Alexandra and Victoria and a border collie. Jonathan is originally from Poynton in Cheshire. He studied at Moorlands Bible College and later at Haus Edelweiss Institute for Biblical Studies, near Vienna in Austria. For 16 years he was a pastor and seminary lecturer in Poland and speaks Polish fluently. For many years Jonathan had an itinerant preaching ministry to many parts of Poland and other Central and Eastern European Countries, and has also preached regularly in Iceland and North America. |

You are very welcome to join us for worship and practical, inspiring teaching every Sunday at 10:30 am. and 6:30 pm. Tea and coffee are provided after the morning service. We are friendly, contemporary and we’re here to make a difference in our town.
We are ordinary people who have discovered that God is extraordinary, that He loves us and that He has made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through his Son Jesus Christ. We have also discovered that He has a plan for each of our lives. It’s an adventure not to be missed!
Our Sunday morning service is particularly suitable for families and we have a special family service every so often when the children take a more prominent part. On our usual Sunday mornings the children leave the main part of the service to attend their Sunday School classes. We also have a Crèche for the younger children. The sound system from the main hall is fed through to the crèche so that parents of the younger children do no miss out on the service. After the service we always get together for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
Our Sunday evening service - the SALT service gets its name form Studying And Learning Together, and includes a time of worship as well as teaching.

Sunday School
There are classes for children aged between 3 and 15
years. The
children go to their classes part way through the morning
service and usually finish by 11:45am.
Each class uses up to date, bright and colourful
material aimed specifically at the age group of the class.
Activities include craft, singing, stories, drama and
discussion.
